Deck the Trees will be Making Spirits Bright across the Swannanoa Valley from December 3, 2026 through January 1, 2027! Now in its 16th year, Deck the Trees is an annual Christmas fundraiser for the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry (SVCM) Fuel Fund, helping neighbors in need to keep their homes warm during winter.

How It Works:
From December 3 to January 1, you can vote for your favorite tree(s) by donating. Vote as many times as you’d like. Every dollar goes directly to the SVCM Fuel Fund. Voting is easy:

• Scan the QR code at each tree to donate online.

• Or drop cash or checks in the donation box next to most of the trees.

• (Online donations encouraged.)

Find the Trees!
You can find this year’s trees by using the Google Maps Tree Trail or downloadable brochure at our Deck the Trees homepage. Paper brochures are available at tree locations and at the Black Mountain Visitor Center. You can also look for the Deck the Trees logo in the windows of businesses around town.
