Our Mission
In an atmosphere of compassion, love, hope, and encouragement we seek to assist those who are experiencing hardship to meet basic and emergency needs. Beyond immediate relief, we make available a variety of life-enhancing opportunities for job placement, job training, and educational advancement.

The Mission of the Ministry is to help its clients maximize their God-given potentials.

Our Ministry
Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry is a team of committed churches, staff and volunteers working within our community in response to God's call to provide vital services for our neighbors in need. SVCM seeks to meet the many and varied needs of its neighbors. For more information about what we offer, visit our Services page. Our ministry area reaches from Oteen (east of Riceville road, Asheville) to Ridgecrest, NC. Those seeking assistance outside of our service area can visit ABCCM. Unfortunately, our homeless shelter remains closed until further notice.
