*During the Covid-19 Crisis, we have implemented a drive-up system for client's and volunteer's safety. Please call when you arrive at the ministry to be served at 828-669-9404
During the Pandemic, SVCM offers a “client choice” food pantry where clients call in and a volunteer or staff member takes their food order from the daily food list of available items. Clients can come every 21 days for food. Clients can check once a week to see if free produce is available. Visit Bounty and Soul's Produce Distribution Schedule here.
SVCM distributes TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) to all eligible clients. |
Our Clothes Closet has men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing as well as shoes. Clients can come every 21 days. They can choose a limited number of each item for every person in the household. We also have sheets, towels, and blankets which they are eligible for every 6 months. We also have household items such as plates, bowls, glasses, silverware and basic kitchen utensils and small appliances.
